The Brockport Service Unit serves girls living in the Brockport Central School District  as well as some bordering areas, such as Ogden, Spencerport, Holley, and Hilton.  Currently, our members total over 200 girls and nearly 100 adult members (leaders, co-leaders, and parent volunteers), in 23 troops.

The Girl Scout year begins in September.  Troop meetings follow the school calendar, and continue through May or June depending on the troop.  During the summer months, registered girls may attend day camp, resident camp, or participate in many other activities, with their troop or independently.  Our cookie sale begins early in October with door-to-door cookie orders, and continues through November with direct booth sales.  See our calendar for more events and activities!

The Brockport Service Team works to insure that the policies and procedures of Girl Scouts of the USA are adhered to, as well as to organize educational and fun trips and events for one or more age-levels.  We are proud to report that in 2005, the Brockport Service Unit was awarded the prestigious President's Award for the sixth year in a row!  Girls and adult members are sure to benefit from the work of this Service Unit.

Parents can benefit from becoming adult members of Girl Scouting!  We need volunteers to work on events committees, to become cookie managers, and to assist with troop events (chaperoning, driving, meeting assistants.)  Those who work directly with girls should be registered adult members.  Check out our Parents Page to see how you can lend your time and talents to Girl Scouting, or contact our registrar.
